Mass High Tech: The Journal of New England Technology - by Christopher Calnan Mass High Tech Maynard native Dan Kalafatas, president of San Francisco-based 3Degrees Group Inc., co-founded the California REBN with Josie Gaillard in 2002. He said Day mostly took over operations of the California organization in 2005. Interest in the REBN has since grown in proportion to general interest in clean technology and energy-related issues, Kalafatas said."Its life has really been a reflection of the energy sector," he said. "Over time, it's scaled, and there's such a huge demand today."
